honored with this year’s President’s Award at the Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ annual Leadership Connections
Conference.
Westin Atlanta Perimeter North received the highest honor due to its exceptional performance in several key
areas over the past year. Under the direction of General Manager Martin Van Der Laan, the hotel achieved
high guest and associate satisfaction scores, increases in food and beverage revenues year over year, an improvement
in room revenue budget and a TripAdvisor ranking at the top of its competitive set. The property
was also recognized by the Westin brand for achieving a Top 5 Year-Over-Year RevPar index increase across
all full-service Westin hotels in North America.
