ATLANTA, GA (October 17, 2016) – On Oct. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m., Davio’s Northern Italian
Steakhouse will host Davio’s Cooks for Charity with special guest Alma G. Davis, founder and
CEO of Alma G. Davis Foundation.
Alongside Executive Chef Timothy Magee, Davis will roll up her sleeves to prepare and serve
her favorite Davio’s dish, Hand-Rolled Potato Gnocchi with Organic Mushrooms, Basil and
White Truffle Oil. Diners can enjoy the specialty dish for $28 (excluding tax and gratuity).
One hundred percent of the sales from Davis’ dish will be donated to the Alma G. Davis Foundation.
Davis founded the organization as a result of her own personal trials and triumphs with
domestic violence. The non-profit strives to ensure victims (especially women and children)
break the vicious cycle of abuse that is constantly on the rise. The foundation provides social
services, pre-employment training, education classes, job placement and financial skills. This event
falls in a critical time of year for the foundation – Domestic Violence Awareness month.
