with the opening of its new location in the Cumberland area at Akers Mill Square on February 28. This
will be the third Chuy’s to open in Georgia, after the restaurant was well-received in Kennesaw and
Perimeter.
For more than 30 years, Chuy’s has been known for its commitment to providing made-from-scratch
Tex-Mex using only the freshest ingredients. The menu includes dishes made from hand-rolled
tortillas cooked fresh all day on a traditional comal in the dining room and homemade signature
sauces ranging from the mild Tomatillo to the spicy Hatch Green Chile. Chuy’s dishes showcase
authentic recipes found in South Texas, New Mexico and Mexican border towns.
Chuy’s has a reputation for its authentic Tex-Mex cuisine and its eclectic atmosphere. Diners can
enjoy their meal and also feast their eyes upon Chuy’s signature decorations, which include: an Elvis
shrine, the La Chihuahua Bar featuring framed pictures of local dogs, a “school” of hand-carved
wooden fish, metal palm trees and a hubcap-covered ceiling.
“We are so excited to open this location because Atlantans love their Tex-Mex, and we wanted to
bring our fun and fresh cuisine to the city for everyone to enjoy,” said Bryan Turner, local owner/
operator of Chuy’s Akers Mill. “We’re here to provide an exceptional dining experience that will bring
together friends and families in the Cumberland community.”
Chuy’s Akers Mill, located at 2955 Cobb Parkway Southeast #830, Atlanta, GA 30339, will be open
seven days a week for lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11
